🔄 Last updated: 26 August 2026 — prices checked on our Skontissimo comparison tool across Amazon, MediaWorld, Unieuro, Euronics, Comet, Yeppon and other Italian shops.
The mid-range remains the most interesting segment of the smartphone market: between €200 and €500 you can now find top-level AMOLED displays, cameras with optical stabilisation and software update policies that until recently were the preserve of flagships.
Unlike the usual rankings, here you will find the real prices recorded on 26 August 2026 by our monitoring system, which compares the main Italian chains every day. For each model we also give the all-time low on record, so you can tell at once whether the current price is a good deal or whether it is worth waiting.
How we choose (and how to read the prices)
- Verified price: the best price for the new version at the time of the survey, with the shop that offers it
- All-time low: the lowest price ever recorded by our monitoring, with the date
- Value for money: we weigh the display, cameras, battery life and years of guaranteed updates against what you really spend
Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G — the best value for money

When is the right time to buy a mid-range smartphone?
Always check the all-time low: if the current price is within 5-10% of the minimum (as it is today for the Redmi Note 15 Pro, Edge 60 Neo and Galaxy S25 FE), it is a good time. If it is well above — like the Pixel 9a, which cost €63 less in June — it is better to wait for an offer.
Is it better to buy on Amazon or from chains such as MediaWorld and Unieuro?
It depends on the model: according to our survey of 26 August, the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Galaxy A57 cost decidedly less on Amazon, while the Pixel 9a, Nothing Phone (3a) and Galaxy S25 FE have their best price at the chains (Euronics and Unieuro). Always compare before buying: the differences often exceed €50.
How many years of updates do these smartphones guarantee?
The Galaxy A57 5G is the best in the ranking, with 6 major Android updates and 6 years of security patches; the Pixel 9a follows Google's long-support policy; the Nothing Phone (3a) guarantees 3 major updates and 6 years of patches. The others generally stop at 2-4 major updates.
