The Indoor Cam C210 is the camera I put in the hallway as an entry-level deterrent. For under €40, it does things that normally cost twice as much: real PTZ, AI tracking, a built-in siren. Of course it makes compromises (1080p, no HomeKit), but for the price, it's honest.
Category: Entry-level indoor camera with 360° PTZ and built-in siren
Test period: running for several months in the hallway at home
Review summary (for those in a hurry):
- What it is: an entry-level 1080p indoor camera with 360° PTZ, AI tracking, a built-in 90 dB siren and microSD up to 128 GB
- Who it's for: anyone who wants an indoor camera with a genuine motor for under €40 and doesn't need HomeKit or 2K
1080p, not 2K: let's be clear from the start
There's some confusion over the "C210" name, because at least two different eufy products use it: a plug-in indoor camera (this one, the T8419) and an outdoor SoloCam C210 (a different model, 2K). The one I'm reviewing here is the indoor model: 1080p Full HD, a lens with a 110° field of view, 360° PTZ motorisation + ~96° tilt. 1080p isn't the best in its category in 2026, but it fits the price (~€30-40) and is enough for home use: you see who comes in, you see whether the dog is on the sofa, you see whether anything looks out of the ordinary.
PTZ + AI tracking: where the investment shows
The part that justifies the product is the motorised PTZ. The lens rotates 360° horizontally and 96° vertically, controlled from the app or automatically by the AI when it detects a subject. The automatic tracking follows people around the room: in my tests, in an 8-metre hallway, it follows the subject without losing them. For typical home use (keeping an eye on the inner hallway, seeing who has come in, watching a crawling toddler) it works well.
90 dB siren
The built-in 90 dB siren is a feature that sets the C210 apart from indoor cameras at the same price. It can be triggered from the app or automatically on a high-priority trigger (a configured exclusion zone). For anyone using it as a passive deterrent, the "motion detected + siren" combination is effective.
IR night vision
Black-and-white IR only, up to about 8 metres. Enough for minimal night-time lighting in a hallway or living room. No colour night vision like the outdoor SoloCam S230: it's a trade-off that goes with the price bracket.
Storage and management
MicroSD up to 128 GB (not included). With a 64 GB microSD I get about two weeks of clips at average use. Clips are saved only on a trigger (motion + AI). It works with HomeBase 3 for centralised storage. No subscription required.
App and quirks
The eufy app is the same across the whole ecosystem, and that's a strength: if you already have the Video Doorbell E340 or a SoloCam, you don't need to install anything new. The PTZ motor is audible in a quiet room: a slight hum while it rotates. In a bedroom it can be annoying; in a hallway or a living room with the TV on, it's inaudible. There's occasional lag in remote PTZ commands on a slow 4G connection (1-2 seconds).
When the C210 is the right choice
Bottom line: the C210 is the budget indoor camera of the eufy ecosystem. If HomeKit isn't a priority for you and you can live with 1080p, it's an excellent entry point. If you want HomeKit Secure Video or 2K, step up to the Indoor Cam E220 or the C120. If you want a fixed camera with no motor, the C120 is quieter.

Frequently asked questions
Is the indoor C210 2K? No, it's 1080p. There is also an outdoor product called the "SoloCam C210" that is 2K — it's a different product. The indoor one (model T8419) is 1080p.
Can I use it with HomeKit? No. For HomeKit Secure Video, step up to the Indoor E220 (PTZ + HomeKit) or the C120 (fixed + HomeKit).
How noisy is the motor? A slight hum while it rotates, similar to the E220. Inaudible at ~2 m with the TV on. In a quiet bedroom it can be annoying.
Is the siren effective? 90 dB is loud (comparable to a vacuum cleaner). You can hear it all over the house. It works as a passive deterrent or as an active alarm.
What's the difference from the C120? C120: fixed, 2K, HomeKit, sound detection. C210: PTZ, 1080p, siren, no HomeKit. Choose according to whether you need PTZ + siren or HomeKit + 2K.
Does it work without a microSD card? Yes, but it won't save clips. For serious use, put in at least 32 GB.
